Hi guys,
i hope that someone can help me.
I've tried to use SEQ but doesn't work. I tell ya what i did hoping that is what you need to solve my problems.
At beginning i've installed SEQ (ShowEQ-4.3.21.tar.bz2) in my laptop with Fedora 2 (X86 platform)
Because i've a switch i've also installed Etercap on the laptop and ive told him to check the connection from 192.168.0.1 (the router) to 192.168.0.4 (the pc with Eq running).
The etercap show me all packets and i've told myself :"It's done!"
So i've started SEQ and i've set in the network options the Monitor Next EQ Client Seen option
SEQ told me to zone
I've zoned but nothing appears and SEQ tell me this:

WARNING: OP_TimeOfDay (0027) (dataLen:18 != sizeof(timeOfDayStruct):8)!

This is a little exctract but is all in this way.

I've maked something wrong?
The version of SEQ is wrong?
Doesn't Work with Fedora?
Or i've missed to do something?

I've checed the treads but nothing for this problem (maybe i've not seen)

Thn by now for all the answers and to all that can help me

Cya all and good play )))

Tarballs are way old. You need to update from CVS. Search around and you'll find instructions on it here.

Thank you very much but now i have a new problem ,when i try to update from cvs with this command :

export CVSROOT=:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/seq
cvs login Logging in to :pserver:[email protected]:2401/cvsroot/seq
CVS password:

When i hit return at password request the server told me this:

cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

Wrong syntax?
If yes what's the correct command line ?

Thank by now for answer.

I get the same thing, also.

edit: I checked status at sourceforge and got:

Status at a Glance »

Project CVS Service: Partial Outage In-Progress

I think that is the problem.

Yeah, sourceforge anoncvs is a pain in the ass. Need to be patient with it and keep trying.
