A little confused

I downloaded the Patch off the update thread (Slackware 10.0).
Ran the installpkg commands.
Ran configure , make, and makeinstall.

The new maps load correctly. But none of the mobs ID , and all of the levels are off.

I'm not a Linux pro , so any help on getting this running correctly would be a godsend.

I'd also like to givea great Thank You to all of the hard working staff members and supporters who keep this site going. It's much appreciated.

It sounds to me like your old SEQ installation in /usr/local is still in place. Try these commands, then run showeq like normal again and let me know what happens...

as root:

rm -rf /usr/local/bin/showeq*
rm -rf /usr/local/share/showeq

Also, you dont need to download the source tarball anymore (in this case showeq-5.0.0.15.tar.bz2. All you need to do is install the 2 slackware tgz packages using the installpkg command.
