you have "~amd64" instead of simply "amd64"

I will get Gentoo installed on my amd64 over the weekend and test install

A) Per the Gentoo procedures, you are only supposed to put them in unmasked if you've tested on that platform yourself.

B) Post like this one of yours should be in the ShowEQ Development forum.
