I've noticed that on quite a few kills in TT EQ reports that I'm getting experience but show EQ shows my experience gained as 0 for that kill. Is this a bug in seq or do you really get 0 xp on some light blue kills?

Experience is really reported as <some number> out of 330. The numbers ShowEQ shows you are estimated (the differene in experience * (total experience for level / 330)).

So, what is happening, is although you gained experience, you gained less than 1/330'th of the current level's experience on the kill. You still got XP, just a small amount. As you go up in levels, you will notice that you get 0 more and more frequently :)

I was under the inpression that the XP was calculated server side now and it only sent your client an XP packet if you got 1/330 or more. Which is why if you kill 2 of the exact same mobs at the right level, the first one will give you 0/330 and the second one will give you 1/330.... you can see this in better effect if you kill light blues, cause you can kill 2 or 3 of those before you get one that gives you 1/330th...

I think we are saying the same thing two ways. When you kill something, the packet tells you that you now have X experience. That number is out of 330. ShowEQ takes Xn - X(n-1) to determine how much experience you got from this kill (that is xp after kill - xp before kill). If you got less than 1/330'th from a kill, Xn = X(n-1), so showEQ reports 0xp. This really means that xp was less than 1/330th of the current level.

Example:

You kill 4 light blue Mob's, each worth 1/660th of a level. You start at 0/330 xp.

After kill 1) 0/330 xp reported to the client. (showEQ shows gain of 0 * factor ) (1/660 is real xp)
After kill 2) 1/330 xp reported to the client. (showEQ shows gain of 1 * factor ) (2/660 is real xp).
After kill 3) 1/330 xp reported to the client. (showEQ shows gain of 0 * factor ) (3/660 is real xp).
After kill 4) 2/330 xp reported to the client. (showEQ shows gain of 1 * factor ) (4/660 is real xp).

factor above is based on your level, (maybe class/race also?). To make the numbers look "real".
