Anyone know if I have 2 sessions of WinEQ 2 going on my xp box and my linux box running showeq monitoring the ip of my main machine, will showeq work? can I switch between the sessions?

There's no way to switch between the two sessions or to even pick the session you want. It may randomly switch between the two sessions if you zone both at the same time because there is a small window between zone server sessions.

As long as you are on the most recent version, it shouldn't crash though.

I use 2 winEQ (man I miss EQWindows) sessions. SEQ does work and doesn't seem to crash any more! Thanks purple!

I use WinEQ also, usually have 2 sessions running, occasionally a 3rd, but my comp cries when I try to run 3 (geebus, I'm running 1G of ramm, but think I may up that, hehe). ShowEQ works fine with it. Occasionally, It will switch sessions on me when a group gate happens, but other than that, it runs pretty solid.

RAM only helps so much, especially with the poor memory management of Windows (reserving half for disk caching).
