Anyone still using a DS108 Hub?

I thinking bought a ds108 hub, read it worked here on the boards..
The first post I saw someone using one was from 2004. This is new and wondered if perhaps they changed anything since 2004. I would try it, but I dont have showeq up yet, just thought I would check.
