I just installed ubuntu and am trying to get showeq installed, I have looked and followed the faq Tanner has in his sig but I am doing something wrong I presume as its not working, I first updated my sources.list files here

Reading package lists... Done
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I then run
apt-get build-dep showeq
which gives me this..

Building dependency tree... Done
E: Could not open file /var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.real-time.com_linux_real-time-debpool_dists_breezy_custom_source_Sources - open (2 No such file or directory)

well after more searching I got it running using the showeq download from sourceforge

needed to configure using this command.

LIBC=gnu ./configure
then after installing some missing packages and what not that went well..

then needed to edit the pcap.h file as make was failing.

I edited my pcap.h file, adding "const" in front of "char" in the declaration for pcap_lookupnet, as described in this post here:

**edit, I used search and found some stuff on it.. will see if I can figure it out.

well showeq runs and works.. but keeps crashing whenever I zone.. I get this error message..

Warning: !!!! EQPacketFragmentSequence::addFragment(): buffer overflow adding in new fragment to buffer with seq 0042 on stream 3, opcode 35c0. Buffer is size 7 7302 and has been filled up to 77261, but tried to add 505 more!

Any ideas how to fix this?
