hi

i am really new to linux. I finally figured out how to setup my network now i've been trying to install showeq. I followed the link on Tanner's signature on installing debian package. I added the link to the stable package to /etc/apt/sources.list. i run the update and it says update complete. then when i run the install showeq i get the following error

showeq:
Depends: libqt3c102-mt (>=3:3.3.4) but it is not installable

i've searched the forums, installed what i thought was the proper extras required to install. i've installed libqt3 compat headers.

i'm stumped. any help is greatly appreciated. remember that i am new to this stuff, so plz try to be as simplistic as possible.

thanks in advanced

debian isn't dapper, dapper isn't debian.

no dapper package listed. Guess you'll need to build it from source yourself or wait for tanner to decide to add dapper to his list of systems that he'll build packages for.

Hey Cryonic do you know if I put all the

Hoary
deb ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool hoary custom
deb-src ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool hoary custom
Breezy
deb ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool breezy custom
deb-src ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool breezy custom

in /etc/apt/sources.list ?

Also I have dapper so do I add for that?

just looking for info.. my old FC3 died on me. I mean the magic smoke left the little box.
