Hi everyone.

Long time i used ShowEQ to help me get around. After a longer break im back
to EQ. I dont have an linux router anymore so im using MySeq instead.
Myseq runs fine (thanks for this nice piece of software) on my vista comp.

But 2 little probs i have.

I cant run MySeq in Network e.g. Server on my Tooncomp and Client (also Vista)
on my laptop. Any ideas?

IF im running both on one machine, i arrange the windows that i can see the map with the spawns on the right of my monitor while i play in windowmode
1280*1024. On a widescreen it works fine. But it doesnt show me the spawns point with the spawnstimers. to see this ones i have to activate the window (e.g. bring it to the foreground?). is there a way to change it so the timers will be shawns even in background?

Thanks for the help everyone.

Greetings Hertome

P.S. Sorry, english is not my native language.

To change what is drawn when the program is in the background go to Options->Options->Display Options. There are two columns one for background and another for foreground.

I'm not an expert at networking, but I may be able to help. Starting with the simple stuff, are you sure you have the correct IP adress typed in? Are you connecting to that IP address rather than the default 127.0.0.1? Do you have any firewalls installed? Is the port in your offsets.ini file the same in your client's options? What is the specific error message MySEQ gives you?

First off thanks a lot for the help.

I change the options and it works great.

The network problem is solved. I disabled the firewall ( i had the ports open
but it wouldnt work) and it works fine.

Thanks.
