Alerts (Partial mob name)

It has been a long time since I fired up this program. Can someone remind me of the filters used when creating alerts.. specifically...

partial name of a mob

i remember using , a or something.. but it's been far too long.. any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if I understand your questions or not, but here goes. In the alert file, you create a line that says [hunt], [caution], or [rare]. Under that line you can create a line for every name you want to search for. If you you want anything with wolf, or orc in its name to be marked rare your file would look like.


[rare]
wolf
orc

If you want to be more specific you can do something like this


[rare]
a dire wolf
an orc scout

Make sure the lines do not start with the # sign, because that tells it to ignore that line.
