not sure why but i havent been able to get any of the offsets to work for months now, any suggestions on what i might be doing wrong. it worked very well for me for years and would like to get it to work again thanks

Are you playing on Live, Test or one of the Emulated servers? These are for Live only. Is the client actually connecting to the server & things just are not working from there? If not make sure the client is set to connect to the correct IP address of the machine running the server. Also make sure you are actually replacing the old offsets, and only have 1 set of them in the .ini file. Aside from the offsets, everything else in the file is remarked out, and not actually needed. You could try saving the file with nothing in it besides the above offsets.

sorry i should have included more info. playing on live servers, the server window shows a connection and shows the right zone but no maps and no dots
just looked again and ptarget value in server window is 0x0 doesnt seem right but cant seem to find 1 that works

ptarget almost always shows 0x0 in my server window because that is what it does if you have nothing targeted in the game when you connect with the client. What about the other values? When my offsets are wrong I usually see some out of range message in the server window. Make sure the patch date showing in the Server window is correct too. If not you may have more than 1 copy of the program installed. Try renaming the myseqserver.ini file & creating a new one with nothing in it but the new offsets from today http://www.showeq.net/forums/showthread.php?6560-06-29-2011-Offsets
