View Full Version : how should i set up my computers to get seq to work right?

hay
after constent reading thru all of the threads it looks like i may still be needing some help... i need to know should i set my computers
windows->hub->linux->net
or
linux->hub->windows->net

if its not too hard to see i am very new to linux and seq and would love to have this work. if you can think on any other things i can do or suggestions for helping me to get this project running pls list them here.

Ok, u have your windows box go to hum, then your linux box connect to hub also w/ a seperate network card out (or modem if u use modem out or whatever out on your linux box)

So your windows box is set up to masq thru your linux machine, so SEQ can passivly sit there and watch the data flow thru only way for it to work.

So basically you are running a local network, and your linux box is your gateway out
