CPU Usage

Prior to the March 16/17 CVS updates, ShowEQ was using very little CPU, almost doesn't register on my CPU Load graph.

But now, it's using between 80 and 90% CPU (according to top).

open a shell and run the "top" command and see what is on the top of the list. I'm willing to bet it's X and not SEQ... not that proves anything but if X is on top I guess you could say it's a known issue.

If you read my post carefully, I did indicate that ShowEQ was using between 80 and 90% according to "top."

Not X. Not XMMS. No other application is even close. It's ShowEQ at 80 to 90% with X falling in a distant 2nd at around 8 or 9%.

The problem has been identified and a permanent fix is being looked into. Until then, shut off the recovery options.
