Is there a thread around that has some instructions on how to patch an existing install with a diffs file?

Sorry, if this is an obvious thing, not much of a savvy user here.

Thanks!

It is right at the top of this forum. In the How to get ShowEQ post.

If you had the previous version, you just have to patch those files, then remove the .o files and recompile.

Or you can download the tarball or download a fresh one from the svn.

Do you run the patch in the build or active Showeq Dir?
What commands are you using to compile? Make?

I download the svn and it creates a trunk folder. I go into the trunk folder and run the patch -p 0 < /location-of-file/diff-170517.txt it will say 2 files patched.
