Hey all, curious which OS i should install to switch back to SEQ? its been a hot minute (11 years) since i've used SEQ. I believe I was using fedora 4 at the time.

I'm thinking I'll install this on a VM if that makes any difference in OS choice. Just looking for what is the most complete for just SEQ. Thanks!

I have it on Centos 6 and it installs right out of the box.

I have it on Centos 6 and it installs right out of the box.

For what it's worth it also works great on the latest Fedora 26 release with one minor change, I outlined that here:

http://www.showeq.net/forums/showthread.php?7151-SEQ-5-13-Error-Compiling-everquest-h-2686-46-error-flexible-array-member-in-union&p=49284&viewfull=1#post49284

(this works around issues with newer versions of GCC).

Is there a place I can submit a patch for the next release or include this (perhaps when new opcodes, structs are released so the 2017-08-16 patched live version works again? 2017-08-16 seemed to break stuff again. I'm new to SEQ but notice it's always a cat-and-mouse game.

I do not have a problem with that patch, but you or someone will have to verify that this does not affect other distributions. I wont patch it in if it breaks other installations.

I am sorry but I do not have the time to test things.
