I am still getting unhandled OPCODE messages. My setup is a Centos 6.9 VBox with network adapter in bridged mode. I can see EQ traffic, because my SEQ detects my client when I start EQ.

Did the following to try and resolve:

- Fresh install of CentOS 6.9
- Installed all libs including gcc, gcc-c++, sqlite, qt3, libpcap, libtool
- Downloaded SVN
- Successful ./configure && make && make install
- Downloaded 9/20 diffs file
- ran patch -p 0 < diffsXXXX.txt and it patched with no errors
- Started ShowEQ
- Set eth0 as device
- It detects my EQ client when I started everquest
- Starts to show unhandled OPCODE messages and no data

Am I missing something? Sorry if bad thread to post this.

Setting Session Tracking stops the messages. Still no data though for some reason. It's clearly seeing the EQ Client as it sets the PCAP filter to my client IP address but nothing showing even after zoning etc.

I compiled mine with the new patch and it worked fine for me. I do run session tracking though.

Worked for me patching from 888 before the SVN was updated so I dono. I use sesson tracking and real time thread.

Honestly no idea what I changed but it just randomly started working... I zoned 10-15 times, and then one time when I zoned in it just started working and has been ever since. Very odd but it is working now :)
