Need Help with Updating Seq

Hiya,

I wanne start by telling i am a complete Linux n00b.
I installed Linux cus i wanne try out ShowEQ, this all worked fine for me.. I installed linux and Seq without any troubles.

Now i wanne update my Seq to the newest version and i wanne know what is best way to do it.

I used this tread to install seq : http://seq.sourceforge.net/showthread.php?threadid=273

I hope i can adjust a few things to the tread above to update Seq.
Is there anyone that could help me out with this?
