View Full Version : Permission Denied on ./showeq after CVS update??

I just did a CVS update becuase I was having some 'unwritable data" error causing Showeq to crash. So I make distclean and did a CVS update. Compiled and installed.

Now when I try to run ./showeq out of /usr/local/bin it's telling me permission denied.

I'm logged in as root and Showeq was working just fine 20 minutes ago(except for the random crashing thing).

Did you check the permissions? I'm guessing that the file doesn't have execute set.

Right after I posted this I checked permissions and execute was not set. This is the first time it changed that after a CVS update, so I didn't expect the obvious. Thanks guys.
