Is it possible to filter a mob from its spawn point?
What I want to do.
I got several spawn locations of Diaku Raiders or their PH’s in Postorms and would like a filter that shows me the mobs that has spawned at one of those locations.

Short answer: Yes
Long answer: Select a MOB in the spawn list, right click choose add to <catagory> then leave only the spawn location info in that filter match. This WILL miss any that have already spawned when you zone in, UNLESS they are static and still at the point.

When I do that i get a

which i change to

but the loc in there seems to be the loc where the mob was when I added it, not the loc where it spawned. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong :)
This is from the spawnlog.txt, but i dont know which loc I need to add in the filter then. Would appreciate any other hint.

I can't say that I've hunted them, yet.
Do they Move (roam) or are they static?
If they move you need to be IN the zone when they spawn to get thier spawn point, not just where they are when you zoned in.
Once you've figured that question out, then the only part you want in your filter is the X&Y like:
:X:2022:Y:1682:
from your example.
One think I'm not sure on is if they move, you may get a spawn alert, then when they move (X&Y change) you may get a despawn.
You will likely need to experiment a little to get it to work.
They roam, i got the spawn points from the spawnlog.txt, but they look different then the ones i got when i add a mob to the filter by right clicking it.
I will play around with it a bit and let you know when/if i figured it out :)

Approx where are their spawn points and what are their placeholders? I am pretty sure they are the swirling things, and I'm also fairly sure that one of the spawns is kind of near the desert giant tents, one farther north too. I'm looking for some of the pieces for the PoTactics key, any info would be appreciated :)
Okies, here is the problem with the spawnlog.txt I got.
When something or someone zone sinto a zone or spawns, you get the wtong lov in the spawnloc.txt. It looks like this.
+:randomplayerormob(939):65:-14360,-16472,-3768:08.42.14:3:postorms:10.39.05.09.3173:(0):17
When that mob, person wont move and zones out again I get a
-:randomplayerormob(924):65:-1825,-2008,-460:08.41.57:3:postorms:10.33.05.09.3173:(0):17
I tested this with someone standing still after zoning in and had someone else casting decession on him, repeated this a few times and it were allways the same locs in the spawnlog.txt.
the -14360,-16472 loc you get when something zones in wont help you at all though, then one were he zones out does. If you add a filter like:
:X:-1795:Y:-2059:
you will get everyone who zones in marked in your map.
Now the problem is to get the spawn locs of the raiders or ph's, so you can just go afk in there while others hunt and start to hunt the real ph's after those other people left :)
What I did so far is checking all the spawnpoints in the map and did a cat spawnlog.txt | grep <spawnlocation> .. If i saw an Diaku Raider there, i added it to my loc. Lots of work, but I dunno how else i could get the locs.
So far i got these locs witht that method:
:X:2083:Y:1129:
:X:2122:Y:674:
:X:1706:Y:676:
:X:1962:Y:-1053
This is surely not the best way how to do it, but it works somewhat, i got 2 Raiders to spawn in an hour (while soloing ph's).
Other suggestions and solutions or comments wearmly weelcome :)
