Seriously looking forward to the new reincarnation of the old site!
Not that I'm an authority on the subject (lol) but I'd suspect a combination of the 2 :)
Uh, sorry. I couldn't even read that. Try again with punctuation.

Could SEQ still be listening for the zone packet info from the key proggy? :)
lmao, that was good :)
It'd be nice to tie it down to some kind of formula, but I can't see how. Example: Certain mobs in Echo absolutely, positively hate snare. Tanks have a hell of a time getting mob off the poor...
This would have to be a series thing though, like 24 or something. Also, they'd have to wait until he finally finishes the series (assuming #10 didn't, haven't read it yet).
I dunno if there is any way to do it with a windows 'browser', but there is a wincvs. You might try that.
Lol, glad someone is doing it. I couldn't. Requested it a long time ago.

This was discussed just two days ago.

Could this be the source of the problem?
Unfortunately I don't know enough to answer these questions, but they seem to be very good questions. If #5 and #6 are true, and you can't have two identicle pages in memory, could it copy the page...
And lastly, everyone needs to change the source some before compiling so that there doesn't end up being 200 users with the same 'finger/footprint'. Just downloading an exe and running it, even if...
Even if the devs here were interested in going to EQ2 (which many might not), once they stopped support on this program someone else would take it up. If someone else took it up, it might end up...
I've been wondering some of the same things.
And is it silly of you? Absolutely not. If you are not willing to take the risk, then don't try it. Period. Of course, that was true even of the...
The EQ and SEQ computers must both be connected to the hub (a true hub, not a switch labeled as a hub).
Whatever the hub plugs into in order to reach the internet doesn't matter too much so long...
I'm not a programmer, I'm just trying to help if possible.
Is there any way to match the fingerprint of a currently in use and very popular virus scanner? If so, is there a way to have the...
Mostly I just use it to keep me and all the other non-showeq users with me alive. This has been done countless ways that hurt no other people.
Several times however, (in fact more than several)...
I keep thinking that same thing.
Everyone on that message board is shouting to ban the cheaters. They don't realize how many of their friends are using it, and that it is why they don't die as...
And thank you both from all the ShowEQ users as well!
Remember that when you update, sometimes your settings get lost. Happened to me once. Make sure you turned broken decode back on. I just tried it, without broken decode on I get garbled spawns and...
As has been stated several dozen times in the last week, decoing is not currently being done correctly and work is being done to fix it. As such, mobs are not decoding. Therefore they are garbled....

The solution to running something client side is to mask the name. Mask it so that it shows in the task list as Internet Explorer or Freecell or something. They have to do more than a tasklist scan...
Maybe have an option as to what information you want logged to the spawn log, or log everything like type(pc,npc),race, class, etc and let others filter out what they don't need.
