For some reason the savePrefs is only called when you use the menu Quit to terminate Seq. If you press X in the corner, your preferences will not be saved, or at least not by the normal savePref...

It can't be ruled out that there are memory leaks in
the code. From the patch messages I read at
Trolltech, alot of the fixes upto 3.0.3 are memory
related. There are advantages and disadvantages...

Map popup got smaller and FOV can be set to transparent
like 3.1.2 style.

Do you get the "link" light to come on, on the hub/router when you connect the linux box?

If yes, have you tried to run a browser to see if you have a normal internet connection?

The first thing I did was to change the Map::PaintPlayerBackground to mimic the old 3.1.2...

I'm running SEQ 4 with the QT3 library.
It took a few mods to the SEQ source files, but that was fixed in 10 mins. Trolltech has a nice QT2 to QT3 port guide.
The make procedure for QT3 is the same...
