getting 2 issues.
Crashes whenever the session being monitored, has a toon that levels up.
Will often get the following, if leave my toon at the char select over night:
Warning: EQPacket:...
You can add the bottom controls for panning and pan x and y. Not the same thing as dragging the map with a mouse, but ....
I was in Sepulcher main zone last night, and some of the wandering mob skittles were named different than the actual mob. What would cause that? Static spawns seemed fine. We were killing...
Dropped the full everquest.h and zoneopcodes.xml into the extracted .4 tarball, and it worked fine.
I really need to figure out why make -f Makefile.dist build blows up on unbuntu. I can run...
Was directed at Fransick. which patch command line.
what patch command line are you using to apply the diffs?
I am getting the same hunks failed as Nstalkerga, using the svn trunk.
applied the diff against the SVN trunk, copied the src, and conf folders to my .4 tarball, make, make install, and it seems to run without issue.
The only issue I have, and this has been happening...
Can't get a Makefile.dist to create on Ubuntu 11.10 either. Borks at libtool support
Ok, applied updates to the .4 tarball. and it ran fine for last night. Now today, its constantly crashing, can't figure out what is making it crash.
I only see 5.13.10.3 tarball. Where was the .4 posted?
What will you be using to run the VM? Pretty sure Virtualbox treats everything passing traffic on the default network like a hub, and can sniff any client set to bridge.
I haven't had speakers connected to my Showeq box in years, I really can't say.
Seems to be loading map that is one further up the expansion list. IE Feerott, loads HoT lower. Lower, loads HoT Upper.
Seems ok in UF zones though
Edit: Realized, I hadn't applied this...
ok, commented out OP_GroupUdate, and I can get into game, have a map, and some skittles, but it crashes soon after.
I got annoyed with builds taking 20 minutes on my old AMD 1400+ linux box, so I threw together a "new" P4 3.0gig box, with 2gig ram, Ubuntu 11.04 beta. (Yeah, I know, living on the wild side.)
...
Ok, it seems I was still using a modified 5.13.10.2 source, and was functional, until this latest patch. I've run through it 3 times now, using the official 5.13.10.3 tarball as a starting point. ...
I must have screwed something up. Followed the changes posted in this thread.
Still seeing the following:
Warning: OP_ZoneEntry (0x2d6) (dataLen: 76) doesn't match:...
Works fine on live
Let me run through everything again. I have a kludge as well.
Edit** ok, I did everything over again. It all looks good. I have too many copies of ShowEQ, time to archive some of the older...
I am getting this after every mob kill:
Warning: OP_GroupUpdate (0x390c) (datalen: 8) doesn't match:
Mob skittle changes to a grey color, but doesn't get updated to being a corpse.
Any...
I had that opcode for OP_ZoneChange already.
That didn't do it.
Warning: OP_DeleteSpawn (0x5331) (dataLen: 8) doesn't match: sizeof(deleteSpawnStruct):4
Skittles don't seem to update position after making this change either.
I am seeing this as well. Figured I had missed changing something.
Going to get a fresh version and apply changes again, to make sure.
