Thank you!
I have it turned off and saved preferences. When I select a mob and try to scroll up to look at other spawns, it keeps snapping back to the selection.
It's worth noting either way, when ShowEQ starts, this is showing in the console:
Debug: connect2: Unknown opcode 'OP_ZoneSpawns' with payload type 'spawnStruct'
Debug: for receiver 'SpawnLog'...
I also had oddness with this release where it would detect the client at the character select, but would not populate anything once zoning in.
I went back to my 6.3.4 directory and applied the...
Yep, that's correct. I left off that there's another switch that is mirroring the traffic to the SEQ box.
It's dumb mirroring a 16 port switch to another switch port on another switch. Not that...
< Main Router > <-- Port 16 on Secondary Switch --> <-- Secondary Switch -->
< Main Router > <-- Port 4 on Main Switch --> < SEQ box >
< Secondary...
I've been wondering about how much extra load the port mirroring puts on the network. I multibox on multiple machines and the way I ended up giving the same functionality is that the secondary switch...
Thank you!
Personal preference really. Feel free to change to whatever category you want. Caution draws the lines iirc that immediately draw your eyes to them. Vs if they're in hunt and you're not looking at...
Is the virtual NIC set in promisc mode?
You would also need to enable port mirroring so that your switch is forwarding the relevant packs to your main desktop that the VM is running on.
Awesome, thank you.
I've brought it up before (moving op codes), but it would be nice if some of these things had their values pulled out to configuration files. These seem like excellent...
Is it crashing when the app starts, before trying to decode packets? What distro and windows manager are you using? It may be easier for you to run mySEQ as it's fairly easy to get up and running, vs...
Nice. Yeah, some of the held items too specific for a certain drop and weren't named generically. It is good that we can update them once and it will apply to all.
What file/lookup table do these...
I am trying to reduce the beeping and spawns in the spawn list/map. I have added the following as a global filter in the Filtered category
<oldfilter><regex>Name: :.*Race:Invisible...
Yeah it's primarily just an issue when you zone in. I have it as the "drip" sound from GNOME.
Looking at this again. The spawn file alert plays for each and every NPC set up as an alert. Meaning you hear the alert 30+ times in some zones in a row. I found I can slap an "&" on them so they...
Thanks, Newby!
I don't have access to reply to the announcement post thread about spam. But what I've done in the past and currently on my phpBB site is to put new users into a new users group that requires their...
I think this would be a good addition.
I'm on a 2019 Intel Mac with Crossover and the CPU is pegged at 100% the entire time eqgame is running, even with edits to the eqclient.ini to spread the CPU affinity and allow it to use all cores.
Some of them have odd names for held weapons is all I meant for it. It makes sense that it was just what someone decided to call it, vs the official name coming from the server. You mentioned for...
Oh interesting. I assumed the held weapons were also IDs that someone maintained over time, like VeliumSword, etc. Didn't think the server was sending anything, as I've seen some really janky items...
How do we update the names of ground spawns? I've grepped through the source for ones that do have their names show up, searched for the code shown in the spawn list, but can't find them anywhere....
Are you also playing EQ on the Mac? I did not have much luck doing so. It works, but gets extremely hot to the touch.
