Filter precedence

In the filters file, which setting takes precedence: Alert or Filter? Example: If I put -30 in Filter, but I want to be alerted when a lvl 22 unique comes on (say, The Quivering Newbie), so I put him in my Alerts section. Will I get the alert when he spawns, or will he be ignored because he falls into the -30 filter category? TIA!

This is a good question, and from it comes an idea...

How difficult would it be to "assign" a priority to the filter categories? Or to get a pop up window to shift those priorities up and down on the list of execution?
