Seemingly Random System Beeps

I'm not sure when this started happening. I am getting system beeps from my ShowEQ box. I can't seem to figure out what is causing them. They happen every couple of minutes or so when I am playing EQ.

I figure it's probably a feature of some kind but I can't figure it out. Anyone know what the beeps are for?

It's not spawn alerts. Those are using the sound card.

Check the terminal window that you launched seq from next time you get a beep. It's usually a warning about a bad packet size or a corpse being removed before seq processed it, which you can just ignore.
