Maybe this should be on the dev forum -- if it should be just slap me and I'll take it there =)

Has anyone decoded the client-side zone files? If so, how hard would it be to...say....copy the zone files over to a linux box with SEQ and have SEQ read them and present a 2d view of them? Think of it -- no more mapping! Grafix that look better than EGA!

Not that I'm complaining! I'm just at work away from EQ/SEQ and am a very very sad Vah Shir..

There is a tool that does this (without textures) for all non-luclin zones... take a look at hackersquest...
