    C++ Learning Resources ??

    Can anybody recommend some good c++ books or websites. I am not a total newbie when it comes to programming. I have dabbled in pascal,basic,delphi,vb,perl but not really used c++ at all. All the books I have seen so far seem to either assume you are a total newbie and half of the book goes on about control of flow and conditional statements. Or it assumes you are a coding god and the first paragraph talks about dereferenceing pointers!!!.

    Can anybody Help me ??

    Before asking anything read the pre-face section of http://www.smoothwall.org/download/p....9/doc.faq.pdf

    after you've read it, you know what to do next...
