    Got a question about vBulletin

    Here it is.

With the message boards at SF i was able to have an email sent to me whenever there was a message posted. Is that possible with vBulletin??

"Subscribe to this thread" link at the bottom of the thread should do it for ya if that stuff is enabled.

At the bottom of the main page is a "subscribe to this forum" link. That should do what you want.

Unfortuntely it doesn't do that (yet)... One of the few drawbacks vB has, IMHO.

umm yah you can subscribe to a forum... look under the "new thread" icon when browseing the forum. Click the text that says "subcribe to forum" and you will be notified of updates to that forum.

    vB has no drawbacks
if its not standard on vB there is always hack for the feature you want.

Thanks all that is exactly what i was looking for, work during the day and dont have time to monitor the forum for interesting tidbits, plus it is how i remained sane while reading the original SF forums.
