    .map >> .png (part 2)

Okay! I know how to get a hold of .map files. I searched extensively for how to convert .map to .png and found nothing to fit my criteria.

    1. My OS is Windows XP
    2. I am not a computer programmer

What does this mean? I can't run SEQ and I'm too stupid to figure out GD. I know there has to be a simple way. All I want to do is convert .map to .png. I don't care about creating or editing the maps. So is there another way?

    Thanks,

    Zokar

There is currently no way outside of using ShowEQ or the ShowEQ CGIs.

Some people are nice enough to have done it for you. I wrote a php that made PNGs, not the slickest script in the world. I gave it to a friend of mine to put on his guild's webpage.

Sorry, I don't want to hammer his server, but it's doable. Maybe you should lookup how:

I think the MapUI mod available from http://www.eq-toolbox.com has .png versions of all the maps in there package.
