    ST Revamp

Do we have a volunteer who will make the new map of ST if the physical structure changes? (sounded like it would from the patch message).

If not, someone want to post a HOWTO on using zoneconverter or how they do it, something that we can keep locally and track/update for doing PoP maps also?

The physical structure didnt change.. the only sleeper file that changed was sleeper_chr2.s3d, which contains character/mob meshes/textures.. zone data is ocntained in sleeper.s3d and sleeper_obj.s3d (for in zone objects).

    Nice.

Having a "doc" though would be good for when pop is supported.

What if we have all those who know how kinda assemble a "howto" and someone (I'll volunteer) clean and normalize it.

Maps cannot be made automagically, you'll have to make then "by hand" (running around zone, noting down locs) on how to do it, there's plenty of posts in this forum already on how to do it. Use the search to find them because they're older posts (just because they're old, doesn't make them outdated)

Also see the ShowEQ sourceforge.net documents: http://sourceforge.net/docman/?group_id=10131 on map formats.

Before asking anything read the pre-face section of http://www.smoothwall.org/download/p....9/doc.faq.pdf

after you've read it, you know what to do next...
