submitted this as a patch. now it is in the admins' hands to apply it.

Interesting. I edited these points manually and was getting seg faults when I loaded the map. I narrowed it down to the lines with spaces in the descriptions. If I commented them out, all was well. If I removed the space to make it say, for example, "SuccorPoint", it also worked just fine. Add the space back and seg fault again. I checked the other map files and they have spaces in there just fine. I'm no newb to Linux, Seq, or text editing in general. Any ideas?
added locations, thanks for the patch

Stupid question...but, how do you make use of these "locations" in ShowEQ? I added the "P" (loc) values to my map file, and it's there...but it doesn't show up on the map, and I can't find a right click menu option for showing "locations".
Please advise, and excuse the stupid question.
Right-click map -> Show -> locations
Hmmm...I had that clicked before, I must have just had the syntax incorrect in the file itself because it is now working correctly with the new CVS download.
thanks
