Do any of you actually use the extra maps ? Why ?
In the interest of keeping things small I am thinking of just adding a menu item allowing you to turn on an additional map with the new code like you would now. Also, the work is being kept in it's own files until its gets run by the long time devs and see how they want to really integrate it. So, when I post it all you should be able to use it or not and have no effect on previous usage short of clicking a menu option to turn it on or off with default off.
The original map code is kind of twisty ;p so it is taking a bit more time.
