I recently added started playing around with the sounds in showeq
It calls esdplay to play the waves.. However I can't get it to play any sounds.. I can play the waves in X with any wave player, however it doesn't seem that Esdplay is functioning properly. Perhaps it is a server that needs to be started Prior.... I haven't gotten that deep into it yet. anyone know something that might shed some light on this?

I've never liked using esdplay to play sounds either, I just use "play"
