I'd like to request that seq displays the current revision when it starts up. Right now it still says v4.0.0
Helpful for when I forget how many of my boxes I've updated.
Thanks

the version is 4.0, cvs commits are not tracked to update any numbers until someone decides its time to tag a new version and update the number.
consider it 4.0-cvs, which comprises all changes till 4.0.1 is released, at which point the HEAD branch of cvs will get you 4.0.1-cvs.
if you need more specific version info, check the CVS/Entries files in each dir of showeq. It will list ever files version, which you can use to track changes.

Thanks Casey.
Actually, I realize this, I was just hoping for a way to track the compiled binary. Some dev companies do this by assigning a build number that is visible in the app.
Not really a big deal, it was just a convenience thing.
