    which LoY maps ?

    Hi all,

which LoY maps do you use with MySEQ ? I tried www.eq-toolbox.com but these seem not to work. Do I have to convert them maybe ?

    Thanks,

Take the _1 out of the names:

    Nadox_1.txt

    becomes

    Nadox.txt

Then you should be all set.

now, if DOS (windows) would only:

    rename *_1.txt *.txt
    --------
    - Catt

    >SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;
    0 rows returned
    /em sigh

The cartography maps I downloaded currently reside in my C:\Program Files\EverQuest\maps directory. They are of the form: Torgiran_1.txt

The maps in my MySeq directory are of the form: Beholder.map

That's .map, not .txt. For kicks, I tried renaming Torgiran_1.txt to Torgiran.map and opening them, but it didn't work. I tried renaming to Torgiran.txt (at which pont I noticed *.txt was labelled LOY maps in the file open dialog), but that didnt work either.

Can someone provide a direct URL to exactly which map data worked for them?

Just take out the _1, copy them to the myseq maps folder and delete the equivilant .map file. It will automatically load a .txt map if it can't find a .map one for a zone.
