Veksar Map

Ok, I see a veksar map in one of the ShowEQ threads, but this map gives the 1.2 client an error when trying to open it.

Error text says something about a null value.

Now, the first line has the following:
Veksar,Veksar,0,0,0,0
and I'm wondering if that's the problem?

If not, then what could be the problem?

I belive that the client will work with the eq maps as well, so if there isn't a .map for the zone it will look for a .txt one. At least a quick search of the forums says this is true.

Anyway you can get the eq client one here Remember to rename it to just Veksar.txt if you leave the _1 in there it won't work.

FYI - this hasn't been tested by me yet, but i belive it should work.

I have tried 3 different "compiles" of SEQ .map files now, and all give the same :
Value cannot be null
Parameter name : String


I have tested the SOE map format .txt file, but that dont work either.. Anyone able to take a quick look at the different .map files posted on the seq forums?

Fixed it.. I changed the veksar, veksar, 0,0,0,0 to veksar, veksar, 3000, 3000

And it seemed to work oki to me..

I tried that fix and still get the same error, can someone link to a fixed map?

Thanks for the effort but that link is dead. I have done a search and everything I can find on it doesnt seem to be working for me. Was hoping someone had a map that worked and would be willing to link it or mail it to me. If not, I will keep messing around with it.

CB did you get a good one in the archives? The Veksar.map is not in the latest map.zip file. (Taken from the zip linked in the 1.13 thread in the news section.

HUmm not sure if I am dumb or not, but this doesnt work when you put it in the maps folder in client, I also tired to rename to to .map ? can anyone help
