    Making a shortcut for ShowEQ

    I hope this isnt a stupid question, but I just wanted to know how to make a shortcut for ShowEQ...

    right click on your desktop and choose "new link to application" i think. then, just setup all the info you need. i think you will need to check the "run as user" box and put "root" in there.

    i actually wrote a small script that does a little bit of prompting before running showeq, so i linked to that. makes it easier for me and the gf to start it up :)

    I get that far of course - I guess the part I dont understand is what file to chose to "execute" when making a link to application. To start the program, you go to /<yourdirectory>/showeq/ and type showeq to run the program (works perfectly). But I do not see an executable file in that dir. I am obviously not a linux person

    by default showeq installs into:
    /usr/local/bin

    so if you put:
    /usr/local/bin/showeq
    it should work
