pERHAPS ITS THE SERVER SIDE THATS FOOKED 4 ME OOPS

Can anyone shed some light : )

    Edit : )

    FOUND a FIX

Upgraded my win98 machine to winxp
change nothing else just ran the xp disc and

    BANG works fine everytime

So for my prob was the server needs to be on winxp

cos the client works fine altho the client crashing makes you think other wise

    Good luck all

I have been looking into this.

If you run the server component on a win 98 machine it often sends invalid packets, eg x, y or z set to Extreemly large floating point values, or a heading way outside the valid range.

    - Especially when zoning... (push stop on client before zoning helps this)

I have been trying to add some santity checks to the packets before they get sent by the server, but you equally add try catches to all the drawing routines in the client.
