The server should be installed on the machine that everquest is run on. The client on the computer you plan on monitoring MYseq from (may or may not be the same computer).
If you press go and get "can not connect to server" you either do not have the correct IP address set in your options dialog -- in the MySEQ client -- or your network is not allowing the pc's to talk to each other.
We can't help you without more information. Be specific. Statements like "I have the server running on the other comp" tell us nothing.
Also be sure to read the installing MySEQ thread it is a great tool and if you follow it to the letter you can not go wrong. You may need the latest offesets from the MySEQ news forum.
