in your Showeq.conf file make all your alerts and important catagories start with a FULL STOP.
ie:

.Locate
.Alert
.Caution
etc

That way they appear topmost in your list and much easier to watch

Egads, I did a half-assed screwed up way. I wanted them to be listed last, so I named the filters:

z-Alert
z-Caution

etc

looks kind of neat but you're (the correct way) is so much better.
