Since you are new, what we aleays request is the version numbers:

    Server: 1.9b or 1.10?
    Client: 1.13.x, 1.14.1, 1.14.2, 1.15.1, 1.15.2, 1.15.3, 1.15.4, 1.15.5, 1.15.6, 1.15.7?

Copy your Server Ini file so we can verify you are using the correct offsets.

Sounds like he's using 1.10 and just needs to rollback to 1.9b with the newest offsets. There is a new post detailing the installation instructions here. This should answer all your questions.

I figure he's running 1.10 but not having the correct offsets could mess something up as well.

For starters you can use this as zoneaddr : ZoneAddr=7838464

This will help a bit on the stability, but the 1.10 server is not completely stable.. i can sometimes use the 1.10 a whole day, and others it "chain crashes".. heh

So.. try changing the zoneaddr first.. and if the problems are still there, go back to using 1.9b server.

Because there is a long thread of folks having problems with 1.10. So I posted to start using 1.9b since there was no major difference between the two versions. MySEQ doesn't gain any more functions from 1.10 over 1.9b. I wrote 1.10 in the attempt to start the process of converting it to what Server 2.0 is going to be. So please read the thread in the development areas if you want more information.

I have anothe error essage now... it says...

"Could not connect to the server: No Connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."...

Am i missing some install that i need to do? or change something in the setup file??

Which server are you trying to connect too now?

1.10 uses Port 6969 by default (Configured in the Ini)
1.9b uses Port 5555 hardcoded in the server.

Make sure your Client is pointing to the correct port in the Options (f1).

The last error message is most likely that you did not point the client to the server's IP address on your LAN.

To make this easier on you, go to the following thread and download the versions listed for 11/14/03. They will self install with a readme that should explain most of what you need to know.

No problem. The dev's are working hard to get mySEQ on par with SEQ. Hats off to them.

Did you use the self installer or get yours working? I'm just trying to track downloads and successful installs.
