    1.15.11 / 1.9b issues

First off, hats off to the devs... great stuff, this.

Using server 1.9b (yes, the right one, heh) and client 1.15.11, I get the "blank screen of death" when I hit Go. My IP is set correctly, I have the support files in the correct location, and I am using the INI file posted for the Nov 25 patch (the one listed in the dev forums).

Any ideas? I had things working fine previous to the patch, but I decided to upgrade the client to .11 and ensure that my server version was up to date, and things haven't worked since.

Is this after today's patch in EQ? If it is, you will need the new offsets once they are posted.

Yes, I was referring to today's patch.

I am using today's offsets as posted by MQSEQ2 in the developers' forum. Reports are that they work fine, just not for me.

I'm running the 1.15.11 client with the 1.9b (from Jag's site dated 10/13/2003) with the Offsets I posted in the dev forum and everything is working fine.

From talking to others today it sounds like the Server 1.9b is the wrong version. Try redownloading it and verify your Ini file with the one posted in the 11/25/2003 Offset thread.

If this still doesnt work, turn on logging and post any errors listed (you can ignore the DrawLine errors).

The server I'm currently using was downloaded about an hour or two ago from Jag's site... just before I made the initial post. I cut'n'paste the INI file directly from your post in the dev boards.

And finally, pardon my noobishness, but which logging are you referring to? The "log level" in the client options? If so, what level do I need to set it at to capture errors like this?

Set it to 1 and that should do it for logging.

You installed the SupportFiles as well correct?

At log level 10, the only errors I get other than DrawLine are DrawRectangle and FillRectangle overflows.

Sorry, little behind on the replies... didn't check the thread before I replied to it. Yes, I have the support files in my client directory.

    Hey guess what!?

    I'm a moron!

I was sure I had updated my INI file with the new offsets, but apparently I hadn't. It's working now.

Sorry to have wasted anybody's time with my idiocy.

No problem, after 3 weeks of answering problems I pretty much know what all the issues are, also being a developer on the project and going through the code helps alot since I know what's suppose to be going on.

Glad it's working and happy hunting.
