    Re: 11 May Patch

I've always changed the everquest.h file in the /root/showeq/src directory then recompile.

Can I assume this is the info for the developers to figure out the opcodes? or is there a new way to do this?

    Re: 11 May Patch

I have gotten to LOVE my seq program over the last few weeks, while trying to get my epic. Today, with this patch, it broke (which everyone knows about according to the other entries on this forum.. thanks for some of the good info), and I don't "really" know how to fix from the info given from the first post.. Please give me more detail on how to "patch" my seq to read the packets properly again.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: 11 May Patch

You want to put that data in the myseqserver.ini file, just paste it over the old info there. Coffee, Blacksmith, this if for MySEQ (the windows version), not for seq (linux) so /root/showeq/src doesn't come into play. Unless you are doing something really wierd with Wine.

If you are running Linux and ShowEQ, this will not help you. This is a memory map for the computer runing EQ, it doesn't help SEQ try to read the packets on the network.

    Elf,

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using Linux, so that info will not work for me. I just may look into the win version... (but prefer linux)..

    Re: 11 May Patch

In my MySeq offset.ini file there is alot more entered there. Do I delete them all and just put in what is listed here. Or do I change certain lines?

    Thanks for the help

    Re: 11 May Patch

My understanding is that you just replace the stuff that's stated. That assumes that this patch got everything that changed.

note: I havn't run MySEQ in a long long time, my old ini file looked so similer to the patch that I assumed that it got all the fields updated.

These are out of date since the 12th patch.
