I have a simple question... Is SEQ looking for more developers? I am about 1yr from a BSCS and was LF some fun practice.

SEQ is open source. If you want to help design, code and test any bugs, enhancements, optimizations you want and submit them. Do it enough and you will probably get invited.
Got to love open source.

There is a feature request section provided through SourceForge. You could look through there for some ideas for contributions you could to SEQ...
General method to becoming an SEQ developer.
1. Fix non-trivial bug or add a non-trivial feature
2. submit patches
3. Make intelligent posts to the forums
Keep doing those things and eventually you may get added...
Enjoy,
