MySEQ Filters

I once had filter list for SEQ many many years ago when i first was playing EQ, and was curious if anyone has filter list for MySEQ.

TBH, since development has picked up again I've gotten a bit lost on the proper use of filters. Using the Alerts/Add-Edit inside MySEQ Open hasn't been working for me so I don't try to do it that way any longer.

I'll show you what I am using/doing. If this isn't the best/proper way then I hope someone can straighten us both out...

I will not provide the actual filter files. I haven't a clue where they originated from so I won't redistribute them. What I will do is give you a list of files names to create and the framework to include in each file so you can create your own.

The filter files are located in your MySEQ Open's filters folder.

To edit filters for a zone I open the filter file outside of MySEQ Open using my favorite text editor, add/change/remove what I want then save the file. Inside MySEQ Open, I click the Stop button then click the Go button. This will reload the zone & filters.

Each file should contain-

# Include # on every line that is not a filter
# Be sure to only have up to 1 extra space at the end

# Hunt will put a yellow circle around the mob
[hunt]

#
# Caution will draw an flashing line to the target (traps etc)
[caution]

# Rare will draw a flashing white circle around the mob
