    INVALID PACKET: Bad CRC32

    ok I am a super newb to linux. I had showeq running on an old mandrake machine but it messed up and I had to reload. so I did it with redhat 7.2 and did all the things in the guide. I got showeq loaded up and everything but I get this error

    INVALID PACKET: Bad CRC32 [*ip* -> *ip* seq 0XXX lan 14
    8 crc32 (XXXXXXXX != XXXXXXXX)
    with x of course being different numbers depending on stuff

    I tried replacing the libeq.a and some other things but no matter what I keep getting this error. from previous posts it seemed as if I had to buy a certain model of hub to get things working. I have a 3com 10mb hub and I just want this to work. I don't really wanna go out and buy a hub just for showeq. if anyone can shed some light on the subject I would really appreciate it. thanks

    just incase it makes a difference, here is my lan setup

    Win2k proxy ->switch->hub->myeqbox and rhbox
