    Question 3-19 Patch (Players location)

    From Patch message*
Player characters no longer broadcast their location when they are stationary. This should reduce the resources used and improve gameplay

Any ideas how this will effect ShowEQ. I.E. If a charactor is sitting when you zonein will ShowEQ beable to display that information.

It seems the only issue its causing is huge velocity lines on players who arent moving. If you have animate spawn movements turned on, they'll also zip right off the map, but if you turn it off you just get the huge velocity lines.

I found a fix for that issue. I just need to test it some more and then I will commit it to CVS.

Other issues are still pending further investigation.

Simple fix to this is to ignore delta values in spawn update when the animation code is 0x42

Yup, and that's basically what was done for the fix listed in last nights CVS commit, see http://seq.sourceforge.net/showthrea...=&threadid=721 in the ShowEQ Announcements.

    Enjoy,
