    Suppress verbose audio file playing in console log

    Is there a way to suppress this spam showing up in the console log?

    /usr/share/sounds/gnome/default/alerts/drip.ogg:

    File Size: 8.50k Bit Rate: 487k
    Encoding: Vorbis
    Channels: 2 @ 16-bit
    Samplerate: 44100Hz
    Replaygain: off
    Duration: 00:00:00.14

    In:100% 00:00:00.14 [00:00:00.00] Out:6.15k [ ====|==== ] Clip:0
    Done.

    Looking at this again. The spawn file alert plays for each and every NPC set up as an alert. Meaning you hear the alert 30+ times in some zones in a row. I found I can slap an "&" on them so they launch faster, but then the sounds all play simultaneously which is rather loud and jarring.

    Is there a setting or something to tweak so that it won't play an alert more than X times per second or so? If so, then I think I could take off the "&" and only hear it a couple times instead of 30 in a row.

    Thanks!

    I dont think there is a way. I used to have it set up as a fart sound for my alert. It was funny when 30 or so spawns were up.

    I don't think it be too hard to change the code to only have it play once...

    Yeah it's primarily just an issue when you zone in. I have it as the "drip" sound from GNOME.

    You should find a fart wav file. It makes things interesting

    I've added this to my list. Not yet sure where it will get prioritized through - There's some other stuff that's likely more pressing.

    Also, LOL at the fart wav. I'm suddenly reminded of the "Farting Preacher" videos. (Look it up if you like fart humor. Some of them are hilarious.)
