    Item 2U5693>"Name"

    Hiya

Is there something ongoing work, regarding to translate the number to the actually name?
I have started my self to make a ref. list on confirmed loot number, was just wonder if I could post the list or send it to a CVS wizzard to implement it(wont send anything yet still a very small list just started), OR am I to far out here and the number is just a random thing that have nothing to do with that specific item.

i think i remember zaphod saying that if people posted lists of what items == what codes, he would work it into the source. so as a start, you can just post your list in a thread... if he says you have to do something else... then do that.. :)

    Cool cool

Really nice but will prolly take a while before you start seeing anything from me will double check the items first, hate half confirmed info and its mostly from endgames mobs so can take awhile.

Thanks sequser, that is exactly the kind of data we need.

Did the older Seq versions figure out the names on there own? Like inferring it from the items database or something?

I know SEQ uses the item db to identify DROP:<item>. I would hope the same functionality could be used for items on chars. Go inspect someone with something unknown, zone then come back and see if SEQ still lists it as U<whatever>.

    Question

With the latest CVS I am not seeing some of the "2U2725"esque codes on certain mobs...I was just going to start coming up with a list of codes for the Disturbed Elysian Remains in UP.

I'm thinking it was related to:
Minor bug fix in equipment handling (should clear up spurious unknown weapons.
I haven't been able to find the specific change that might have changed this yet...any ideas?

This bug had almost every spawn with unknown weapons. It is now back to normal.. Had nothing to do with this problem

Have gotten more of these unknowns after the last CVS Update I did.

    i.e.
    U2712 - Luclin Scimitar
    U272a - Luclin Short Sword

Dunno if this is just my update, or if its widespread, but I'll be tracking the changes and posting them as we go.
