Looked around.. Where can I get a copy of SEQ? been looking for days, most likely in the wrong spot.

No idea what your starting point is, but you need to have a linux box running that can see the EQ packets.

You can find the maps here (they are in a seperate package than the rest of the program.)
More recent info on the debian packages:Originally Posted by uRit1u2CBBA=

Thanks. Im currently in the works setting up a Linux box using Fedora. Should be helpful in game once I get everything set up and running =)
Right now, seq is broken until we can figure out the new networking code.
Keep an eye in these forums for updates.
Ok, Ive finally gotten ShowEQ up and all.. installed. But theres nothing to show... soo.. Im starting to remember something on Hubs? but I couldnt find the article.. so.. im guessing I need a hub.
another question is.. inder the window.. I see an option to use cliant from IP adress and Mac adress.. can this be used to get around a Hub>?
You still need a hub.
The IP/Mac address is if you have multiple machines on the hub playing EQ and you want to specificy which EQ box gets displayed.
You defintely need a true hub so that your Seq box can see your EQ traffic. Searching on "hub" is going to get you 200 results of people telling other people to search on "hub", so just take my word for it and find yourself an old one. It's nearly impossible to get true hubs in retail stores anymore. Even if they say "hub" on them, look carefully and the box probably says "switching hub" on it somewhere. Your best bet is to find yourself a Netgear EN series hub online somewhere. There are 4 and 8-port versions, the EN104TP and EN108TP, both are true hubs that work with Seq.
On the same note, sort of... I've read about a windows version of SEQ, MySEQ, where can I get a version of this at, and does it even work?
see forum section that says MySEQ... click it and read to your hearts content.
